SIGNS OF FOUNDATION MOVEMENT

The most common sign of foundation movement is cracked exterior walls. Internal gaps and cracks around ceiling joints, cracks in steps, concrete flooring or between tiles, sagging floors, bowing walls and door frames can all be signs of foundation failure.

WHAT CAUSES FOUNDATION FAILURE?

The ground beneath a buildings foundations is made up of many different layers of soil each with is own properties. Impacts such as soil erosion, softening, washout, and shrinkage will compromise the foundation support and allow movement over time.

DOES FOUNDATION FAILURE REQUIRE REPAIR?

Your property is often your greatest asset and that asset is only as strong as its foundations. Cracks can often be ignored but foundation problems don't get better with time and do not become less expensive to fix. Early intervention will not only save you money in the long run but will also provide you with piece of mind.
